1. The Service
VDOAPP provides a free, browser-based video and photo editor and educational content about video editing. The editor runs on your own device: your media is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to us. You don't need an account to use it.
We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service, without notice or liability.
2. Your content
- You own your content. The videos, photos, audio and other material you use in the editor, and the videos you create, remain yours. We claim no rights over them — and because they never leave your device, we never receive them.
- You are responsible for your content. You must have all the rights, licences and permissions needed for the material you use, including music, footage, images and the likeness of any people who appear in it.
- Built-in assets. The stickers, fonts and effects built into the editor may be used in the videos you create, including for commercial purposes. Fonts are provided under their own open licences.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that:
- is illegal, or infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- exploits or harms children in any way;
- harasses, threatens, defames or incites violence or hatred against any person or group;
- is designed to deceive people in harmful ways, such as fraud, impersonation or deceptive manipulated media presented as real.
You also agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use automated means to overload it.
4. Our content
The VDOAPP name, logo, website design, software and the text of our guides belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy or republish our guides or software without permission.
5. Advertising and third-party links
Our website pages may display advertising provided by third parties such as Google, and our guides may link to other websites. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party ads, websites or services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. 6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser, device or file.
Because your projects exist only in your browser, closing or reloading the tab, a browser crash or running out of device memory can lose unsaved work. Export your videos and keep copies of your original files. Our guides are general information; results depend on your equipment and circumstances.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VDOAPP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, and some of these limitations may not apply to you depending on where you live.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
